The bicycle is really an important means of transportation in China. Bicycles have become more and more popular in China. People ride bikes to their workplaces, to shopping centers, to schools and so on. During the rush hour, you can often see a boiling sea of bicycles running in all ways. Because of the largest number of bike riders in the world, people call China "the kingdom of bicycles". There are many advantages about the bicycle. Cars make air dirty and they make noise, but these problems have nothing to do with bikes; bicycles save parking places; riding bikes to travel can be wonderful; the bicycle helps us to go anywhere nearby easily; bikes are not very expensive, so almost every family can buy them. But bikes have shortcomings, for example, bikes are slower.When I may be late for work, I have to take a taxi or a bus. When it’s rainy or snowy, people hardly use them. Also, in summer, girls dislike riding bikes,because they want to keep the skin well. Of course,don’t forget that riding bikes does good to people’s health.

After I told him what had happened, he hurried to my home and carried my grandpa on his back. Then we took a taxi to the hospital. Jim helped me look after Grandpa until my parents arrived.
