　　During my summer holidays, I worked at a vet’s, and I saw a lot of dogs. Minnie was the funniest-looking dog I’d ever seen. She had thin snow-white hair on her fat body. Her tail looked like a rat’s tail. She had big round eyes and always seemed surprised, but she was blind.
　　She was brought to the vet’s because her owner didn’t want her any more. I thought Minnie was a sweet dog, though. “No one should judge her by the way she looks,” I thought. So we took care of her.
