Your schooldays should be some of the best and happiest days of your life. You shouldn’t waster this wonderful opportunity to learn. Here is our advice for you to have a happy school-life.
Advice 1 Be active in school! Don’t say things are difficult or boring. Be interested in school-life and your school subjects. Join lots of activities. Be quick to put your hand up.

Advice 6 Talk about problems --- sometimes they are only the result of misunderstanding. Don’t be too embarrassed to ask for help. You are young. No one thinks you can do everything!

Second, use any extra time you have in school to work on your homework. Many schools have study halls that are specifically designed to allow students to study or do homework. It’s tempting(有吸引力的) to hang out with friends during study periods or unstructured(有組織的) time, but the more work you can do in school, the less you’ll have to do that night.
Third, pace(調(diào)整節(jié)奏) yourself. If you don’t finish your homework at school, think about how much you have left and what else is going on that day, and them budget your time. Most high school students have between one and three hours of homework a night. If it’s a heavy homework day and it seems you’ve got homework in every subject, you’ll need to devote more time to homework. It’s a good idea to come up with some kind of homework schedule, especially if you are involved in sports or activities or have an after-school job.
