Dogs are people’s friends. They will do anything people ask them to do and they do their duty very well.
Curly is my black dog. He is big and strong. He likes running and playing with a ball. My fatehr and I walk him every day and we both love him very much.
One day my father went out with Curly. It was very hot, so my father took off his coat and put it on the ground under a big tree. Curly stood there and looked at him. My father said, “ Watch my coat, Curly.”
Curly sat down on the coat. Suddenly my father remembered that he had something important to do. So he went home and forgot all about his coat and the dog.
Late in the evening I wanted to walk my dog, but couldn’t see him. I looked for him everywhere in my house. I called, “Curly, Curly!” But Curly did not come.
Soon my father wanted something that was in his coat. Then he remembered what he had done. Quickly he went back to the tree. What do you think he saw? Curly was still sitting on the coat.
