In some science fiction movies, the robots are just like humans. They help with the housework and do the most  41 jobs.
Some scientists believe that there will be such robots in the future. But they agree it may
take hundreds of years. Scientists are now trying to make robots  42people and do the same things as us.
But robot scientist James White disagrees. He thinks that it will be  43 for a robot to do the same things as a person.  44it's easy for a child to wake up and know where they are. Mr. White thinks that robots won't be able to do this. But other scientists disagree. They think that robots will be able to talk to people   45 25 to 50 years.
Robot scientists are not just trying to make robots look like people. For example, there are already robots  46in factories. They do simple jobs over and over again. People would not like to do such jobs and would get bored. But robots will  47get bored.
In the future, there will be more robots everywhere, and humans will have 48 work to do. New robots will have many different shapes. Some will look like humans, and  49might look like snakes. After an earthquake (地震), a snake robot could help look for people under buildings. That may not seem possible now, but computers, space rockets and even electric toothbrushes seemed impossible a hundred years ago. We never know  50 will happen in the future!

Beijing's battle to correct English-language signs before the 2008 Olympics has started.
By the end of the year, all public “W.C.” in the city will be called “toilets”. In western countries people don't use “W.C”, because it is quite rude in English.
Road signs are also on the list. These signs will be changed into real English word. For example, “Dong Chang'an Jie” will become “East Chang `an Avenue”.
But there is still a question. What to do about menus? Thousands of tourists, athletes and reporters will visit the city, and most of them can't speak Chinese or understand Chinese characters.
Now linguists (語言學者) are trying hard to translate popular Chinese dishes like “ants climbing the tree ” into good English.
Chinese children will be able to get a taste of adult working life in the Kids City. It will allow children aged 5 to 10 to try out different jobs after it opens.
The world's first Kids City was opened in Mexico City in 1999. In 2006, Kids City opened its Tokyo Park in Japan. It became an attraction to kids. Now it will begin in China. It will offer more than 50 jobs, including pilots, doctors, police officers and lawyers. Inside the city, every kid would get a bank account (帳戶) holding special money. And they can only spend the money in the park. They could earn more money by working in different places.
        根據以上材料,選擇最佳答案。

Sally was a student. It was going to be her mother's birthday. She wanted to buy her a present that would be nice and useful but not expensive.
She went shopping after a quick and simple lunch. After she looked for half an hour, she found a shop that was selling cheap umbrellas, and she decided to take a black one.
She thought, “Mom can carry it when she is wearing clothes of any color.” So she bought a lovely black umbrella and took it to school with her until her class finished.
On her way home on the train she felt hungry because she had so little for lunch. So she went to the buffet car (餐車). She left the umbrella on her seat. But when she got back, it had gone!
Sally began to cry. The other passengers felt very sorry for her and asked what the matter was. She told them the black umbrella she bought for her mother had gone, and she had to get off at the next station. After the three passengers heard this, they asked her for her mother's address so that they could send the umbrella to her if someone took it by mistake and brought it back.
And now a week passed. Sally got a letter from her mother. It said “Thank you very much for your lovely gifts, but why do you send me three black umbrellas?”
