Students learn their lessons in class. In class teachers teach them. Students sit in the classroom    26   the teacher. This is a way of learning. Is this the only way    27     students to learn? Of course not. No one can learn everything from school. A teacher, no matter    28     he knows, can not teach his students    29   they want to know. The teacher's job is to show his students how to read and how to    30    .
Therefore, there is another way to learn. That is students can    31   themselves. For example, if you cannot remember something    32    you are doing your homework, what will you do? You can look at your book to    33    the answer. This is a way to teach yourself. And it is not a(n)   34    thing. We can do this at any place and at any time.
How do you teach yourself? The first thing you must do is    35    . Read something you are interested in, or you have to read. The second is that you must ask yourself questions. The question is something you don’t understand,   36  something you want to know more. You can write down these questions. A clever student is usually good at    37    questions. The third is to answer the questions yourself by thinking    38    , by reading books, and sometimes by asking other people. These are the    39    of teaching yourself. If you    40     doing like these for a long time, you are sure to succeed in your study.

A recent study found that using GPS devices(衛星導航儀) is less safe than using old-fashioned paper maps. The survey found that 13 % of GPS users completely depend on their devices while driving. So they didn’t care much about the traffic and road signs.
The UK is home to a lot of GPS accidents. British drivers who depend on their GPS devices too much have driven into lakes, very narrow(狹窄的) streets and destroyed historic buildings. It has reported that 2,000 bridges are destroyed because of the using of GPS devices every year.
In the U.S. recently, a school bus driver hit a low bridge, and the roof(頂部) of the bus was knocked off. Later the driver said that he hadn't seen the signs of the bridge's height limitation(限制). Instead, he had believed in the GPS and  it  guided the tall bus to go under the 9-foot bridge.
GPS devices do help drivers arrive safely. However, you can’t always depend on them. Here is a warning to GPS users everywhere: Keep your eyes on the road, and keep a clear mind.
